The exam will be conducted by Board of School Education Haryana (HBSE/BSEH).There are 3 levels that are, PRt, TGT, PGT. All the details are provided in the below article. Education Qualifications For HTET 2023
For Level-1 Primary Teacher(PRT) (Class I -V)
- (i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- OR
- (i)Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- OR
- (i)Senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special education).
- OR
- (i)Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects
For Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII)
- (i)Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- OR
- (i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- OR
- (i)Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- OR
- (i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- OR
- (i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- OR
- (i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in B.Ed(Special Education). (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects
For Level-3 Lecturer (Class IX-XII)
- (i) Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognised university and B.Ed. from a recognised university
- (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr.Secondary/Graduation/Post-graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects. And With a Consistent good academic record
